Many musical greats including Ella Fitzgerald, Count Basie, Cab Calloway and Ray Charles played at the Casino and stayed in the Hotel. While the casino no longer exists, the hotel has been preserved and turned into a museum with memorabilia of Orlando’s African-American community as well as African art.
