Florida Vacation Villas: The Best Way to Enjoy an Orlando Vacation By Janice McSherry If you are planning for a vacation or holiday in Orlando one of the most important decisions you will make is about accommodations. Savvy visitors to Florida in general and the Orlando area in particular know that the best way to enjoy a vacation is to rent a vacation villa in close proximity to Disney World and the other attractions of the area. In case you can’t picture what renting a villa would be like, I would like to give you an idea of what you can expect. The first thing to imagine is the space that is at your disposal when you rent a villa. You can get three bedrooms all the way up to seven bedrooms. This means that your children can have their own room or separate rooms and you can enjoy a master suite or bedroom. Your children will sleep soundly and everyone will be quite satisfied. If you think you will be missing the luxury of the hotels, then you have to think again. These vacation villas include private, screen swimming pools, full air conditioning and heating, cable TV, DVD-stereo systems and fully equipped kitchens. Some of the villas have their own game rooms and spas. So, you will get a lot of space and all the luxury you need. These homes are really well located right in the heart of all the action. You will be ten to fifteen minutes from the gates of Disney World and near shopping and restaurants. For all you golfers there are five 18 hole courses within ten miles of the vacation villas. This kind of location enables you to be quite flexible. If you want to prepare your own meals you can do it, if you are in the mood to eat out there are great restaurants and dinner shows nearby. Now if you think that all of this is likely to be out of your budget, then you will be pleasantly surprised to learn just how economical it can be to rent a vacation villa. Let’s take the example of a three bedroom, two bath villa near Disney World. If you come in the mid season then the rate is $115 per night and if you come during a holiday period then the rate is $135 per night. If you were to rent several hotel rooms providing equivalent space then you will certainly end up paying more. So picture yourself enjoying a day at Disney World or Universal, and coming back to your luxurious Florida vacation villa. You take a dip in your own pool, refresh yourself and then get ready for an evening dinner show or a night out at the Orlando area night clubs and attractions. Don’t you deserve this kind of luxury once in a while? Think about it and then make your reservations early because the best Florida villas and vacation homes are often booked well in advance. This is especially true for the peak season which consists of the holidays: Easter, Memorial Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year |
