For a Spectacular Orlando Dinner Show, Try the Arabian Nights

Orlando is famous for state-of-the-art theme parks and tourist attractions that are the tops in the world. If you want to match the daytime excitement of a visit to Disney or Universal with a nighttime activity that is equally as spectacular you might want to attend the Arabian Nights Dinner Show.

There are several themed dinner shows on offer in Orlando and they are popular with vacation goers and locals alike. However, none of the dinner shows can match the grandeur of the Arabian Nights with its 14,000 square foot Palace of Horses equestrian stadium and its Ben Hur style chariot races.

As with all the other dinner shows you get a full meal. At Arabian Nights the menu includes a house salad, prime rib, chopped steak, grilled chicken, vegetable lasagna, dinner rolls, steamed broccoli and mashed potatoes. Going with the theme, the desert is the Princesses wedding cake.

While the meal is good it is not the main draw here. As you eat you can watch a show that is based on the ancient tale of Princess Scheherazade and her search for a prince. The show is performed with 60 horses and 40 men and women in a two-hour tale that blends magic, romance and adventure.

On the grand stage of the 14,000 square foot Palace of Horses, the genies conjure up a variety of entertainment for the princess (and for you) which consists of more than 20 different acts including the previously mentioned Ben Hur Chariot race, as well as a square dance and Gypsy bareback riders.

In case you are worrying about dust and the smell of horses while you are trying to enjoy a dinner, then rest assured to know that there are no bad smells in the arena thanks to the “fibar” surface which is a man-made pinewood chip that provides a good surface for the horses and the spectators alike.

If you want a bit more than a dinner and a show, you can also get a VIP Package and then you will be able to visit the stables and meet the horses and performers. Your kids will get a photo opportunity on top of one of the horses too. All VIP ticket holders get guaranteed seats in the first rows of the theater.

Speaking about seats, you won’t have any trouble finding a place on any night of the week due to the 1200 seat capacity of the theater, and you can usually buy your tickets on the same day that you wish to attend the show.

Whether you attend with VIP Package or the ordinary admission you will also get a chance to take home memorable souvenir memorable photos. When you enter the Great Hall your photos will be taken against a themed background. When the show is over, the photos are brought to your table.

The venue also lends itself to group events such as corporate outings and even weddings. The group events take place in a “skybox” which has a capacity of 80.
